Online Shop Terms & Conditions

  • We suggest creating an account to easily save items to your cart and review current or previous orders. You can create an account by selecting the ‘Log In’ button in the upper right hand corner, then select ‘Create Account’ on the bottom right hand side of the ‘Welcome to Chateau de la Beauté’ pop up. To delete your account, from the account dashboard select ‘Account’ then ‘Security Settings’ select ‘Delete Account’, upon entering your password to confirm the account will be deleted. For assistance please call our Spa directly at 415.306.9850.

    When a purchase is completed from our online shop we will create you a secondary account in our Spa software, Meevo, this allows us to easily maintain records of purchases, guest notes, and your personal shopping and/or shipping preferences. Your First, Last Name, Email Address, Phone Number and Shipping Address will be entered into Shippo, a service we use to print shipping labels. Your information will be stored in Shippo as a receipt. The information in both Meevo and Shippo is private and not shared with the public, it is intended for internal business use only and is a form of internal record keeping. 

  • If you are pregnant, nursing, trying to conceive, have medical conditions and/or take medications, we suggest seeking a physicians guidance as to what products would be appropriate for at home use prior to purchasing. We suggest all guests receive a Complimentary Skincare Consultation before purchasing product, this ensures the product you purchase will meet your individual skincare needs & fit seamlessly into your current skincare routine. If you are currently using prescribed oral or topical medication for the skin, we strongly suggest that you schedule a Complimentary Skincare Consultation prior to making a purchase. Complimentary Skincare consultations are often available same day, they may be completed digitally via zoom, email, text message or in person. In addition, we do not sell skincare prodcuts to minors under the age of 18.

  • We do not sell skincare products to minors under the age of 18, to ensure we only sell to legal adults a birthdate must be provided when creating an online shop account. We do not suggest purchasing skincare products for minors under the age of 18 without a Complimentary Skincare Consultation, parents must be present during the Complimentary Skincare Consultation and must sign a release of liability prior to purchases for a minor under the age of 18.

  • Products sold on our online shop are not sold for resale, redistribution, or use in a professional or commercial setting including but not limited too; a beauty industry licensed individual to use in their practice, for commercial makeup application, for commercial skincare application, or in any professional or commercial setting. Products sold on our online shop are sold for private, in-home, personal use only. Products are not sold to treat, cure, or prevent any medical conditions or ailments. We reserve the right to cancel orders, suspend online and Spa guest accounts if we believe products being ordered are in breach of this provision.

  • We also offer product purchases in Spa, via phone call (415.306.9850), text message (415.965.5327) or email reserve@chateaudelabeautespa.com.

  • Browse through our shop page to find the product(s) you are interested in. Products are categorized by usage (i.e. Cleansers, Chemically Exfoliating Lotions, Serums & Creams, etc). Read the product descriptions. Ingredients and usage instructions are listed on each product page. For questions regarding products, ingredients or your current skincare routine we suggest texting 415.965.5327 to speak directly with our licensed Esthetician. If applicable, select the preferred product size and select "Add to Cart”. Once you do so, you will still be able to continue to shop, add products to your cart and edit your cart. Please note, no more than two units of an individual product may be purchased from our online shop.

  • Select the shopping cart icon in the top right of your screen, an itemized list of all the products in your cart will populate. To increase or decrease the product quantity in your cart, select the plus or minus directly to the left or right of the product quantity. To remove a product, select the "X" next to the product.

  • Products saved to your shopping cart are not promised or reserved until the checkout process has been completed, payment has been collected, and you have received an order confirmation email.

  • When you are ready to complete your purchase, select the shopping cart icon in the top right of your screen, then select "Checkout". To complete your purchase your first, last name, phone number, email address, shipping & billing address will be required. At check out we ask that you Opt-in or Opt-out to receiving text messages regarding the status of your order. We suggest Opting-In to receive texts regarding: order confirmations, out of stock products, order has shipped notifications, order has been delivered notifications, and a two week post purchase satisfactory message.

  • We accept all major debit/credit cards. We do not accept Afterpay, Klarna, Affirm or installment based payments, Venmo, Cash App, checks or cash. To purchase products with a Chateau de la Beauté gift certificate, please email reserve@chateaudelabeautespa.com and we will assist you. If a payment fails, you will be promoted to resubmit payment information. Orders will not be fulfilled until a payment has been received.

    Sales tax is calculated using Taxjar which automatically collects the appropriate sales tax based upon the entered shipping information.


  • In the event that a product is out of stock at Chateau de la Beauté, we will place an order within 2 business days (excluding holidays) and the product will be shipped to you within 1 business day of arriving at Chateau de la Beauté (excluding holidays). For products that are also out of stock with the manufacturer, we will provide an update within 7 business days of your purchasing date (excluding holidays) and you will be given another 7 business days (excluding holidays) to choose to cancel the order or wait for the product. We strongly suggest waiting for the product, this ensures you are one of the first to receive the product instead of potentially facing another out of stock delay. If you choose to cancel the order, we will issue a refund to the original payment method. Canceled order refunds typically take 3-5 business days to appear back on the original payment method, they can take up to 30 days based upon your banking institutions polices.

  • We do not accept returns, issue refunds or replacements for products, gifts cards or memberships purchased in store or on our website.

  • We do our best to ensure that all orders are packaged with care, once they leave our Spa we hope they are handled with care. In the rare event that an order arrives damaged or leaking, please follow these steps within 24 hours of your products delivery time stamp (the time at which the shipping carrier marks your package as delivered) so we can assist you to the best of our abilities:
    1. Photograph the original shipping carrierbox on all four sides, the shipping label must be attached to the box and visible in at least one photo
    2. Photograph the damaged or leaking order
    3. Photograph your original order confirmation email and the text message stating your order has arrived
    3. Email reserve@chateaudelabeautespa.com the following: subject line (Damaged or Leaking Orders - (date) “your order number”, the six or more photos outlined above, the purchasers first & last name, phone number, email address, billing address, shipping address, order number, and package tracking number.

    Please note we do not promise a return, replacement or refund for orders that arrive damaged or leaking. Upon reviewing the necessary information we may ask that you dispute with the shipping carrier.


  • At this time we ship to the continental US only and standard shipping is complimentary. Most orders will be shipped from Chateau de la Beauté 950 Mason Street, San Francisco, California 94108. Orders shipped from Chateau de la Beauté do not require a signature. If you prefer to sign for your order a signature requirement may be added for an additional fee of $10. Occasionally we will rarely have an order shipped directly from MBR Cosmetics, in the event that the order is being shipped from MBR Cosmetics we will notify you as a signature will be required. 

  • Please use the shipping tracking number provided to you at the time of shipping via text message and email confirmation to track your package, check on delayed orders or dispute a missing order with the shipping carrier.

  • To inquire about the status of a current order we suggest emailing reserve@chateaudealabeautespa.com, calling 415.306.9850 or texting 415.965.5327. To review previous orders we suggest logging into your account and selecting orders from the account dashboard.

  • We may occasionally offer a gift with purchase. We may occasionally offer one free gift per transaction, subject to availability. We reserve the right to change the gift for an item of equal value. Please note that the free gift cannot be purchased separately, and any attempt to do so will be canceled. If the free gift is mistakenly sent to you, it must be returned upon request without delay.

  • Under no circumstances will Chateau de la Beaute LLC be liable or responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential (including damages from loss of business, lost profits, litigation, or the like), special, exemplary, punitive, or other damages, under any legal theory, arising out of or in any way relating to the online shop, your online shop use, purchases made on the online shop, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the online shop and/or purchases is to cease use of our online shop.You may have additional rights under certain laws (including consumer laws) which do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. If these laws apply to you, the exclusions or limitations in this Agreement that directly conflict with such laws may not apply to you.

  • By accessing this website you acknowledge that you have read this agreement and you agree to be bound by these terms, conditions, and agreements including but not limited to the following:

    I acknowledge that I have voluntarily chosen to access this online shop and make purchases for Skincare Products, Gift Certificates or Spa Memberships. I understand that there are inherent risks associated with the using new Skincare Products and hereby release, discharge, and covenant not to sue Chateau de la Beaute, its employees, agents, and affiliates, from any and all liabilities arising out of or related to the purchase of Skincare Products, Gift Certificates or Spa Memberships. Further, I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Chateau de la Beaute from any and all liabilities arising out of or related to my use of Chateau de la Beautés online shop and purchased products from the online shop.

    By accessing this website you acknowledge that you have been informed that if you are pregnant, nursing, trying to conceive, have medical conditions and/or take medications, that we suggest seeking a physician's guidance as to what products would be appropriate for at home use prior to making a purchase.

    By accessing this website you acknowledge that you have been informed about the nature and purpose of our online shop, including any potential risks, benefits, and alternatives, and have have been presented the opportunity to ask questions questions before purchase via text message, phone call, zoom meeting, email or Complimentary Skincare Consultation. You agree to follow all instructions given by the staff regarding proper product application and possible contraindications for use.

    If you do not agree to abide by these terms, conditions, and agreements, you are not authorized to access or use the Website and/or any services that may be rendered from our website.

    YOU UNDERSTAND THAT THIS AGREEMENT INCLUDES A RELEASE OF ALL KNOWN AND UNKNOWN CLAIMS. In giving the release herein, which includes claims which may be unknown to you at present, you acknowledge that you have read and understand Section 1542 of the California Civil Code, which reads as follows: “A general release does not extend to claims that the … releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party.” You hereby expressly waive and relinquish all rights and benefits under that section and any law of any other jurisdiction of similar effect with respect to your release of any unknown or unsuspected claims herein. By accessing Chateau de la Beauté’s online shop, I am consenting to receive the Products and or purchases, understanding the nature and potential risks involved. If any provision of this Waiver is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. This Waiver constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties and supersedes any prior understandings or agreements. This Waiver may be modified or amended only by a written agreement signed by both Parties.
